IABM will create impact for members and the industry at IBC 2025 by hosting a curated program of thought leadership. Industry influencers and technology pioneers will engage with a series of content themes that have resonated with IABM’s global community of broadcast media technology vendors and buyers throughout 2025.
At IBC we will be spotlighting 3 broad thought leadership themes to guide conversation and spotlight our members’ success:
How do MediaTech organizations survive and thrive through business transformation? IABM will explore the different aspects of business transformation from product and technology to operations and culture.
Key topics of discussion associated with Business Transformation include:
Democratization is an ongoing process that has created opportunities for a diverse range of end-users beyond traditional broadcast media and entertainment to create video content and publish to a global audience. IABM is leading the way in understanding how this phenomenon influences people, technology and markets. Find out how embracing democratization can open up an expanded addressable market to reach new customers and audiences.
Key topics of discussion associated with Democratization of MediaTech include:
As IP networking and cloud integration are increasingly adopted in broadcast and media supply chains the importance of security in these MediaTech ecosystems could not be more paramount. Redundancy and disaster recovery remain integral to building resilience into media supply chains, while technology vendors must maintain robust procurement and distribution amid changing geopolitical dynamics to ensure a reliable supply chain for their products and services. IABM is championing best practice for safeguarding media content, infrastructure, workflows and data from threats including cyberattacks, unauthorised access, content piracy and vulnerabilities to AI, as well as the precautions taken by media owners and technology vendors to guarantee reliable supply chains for their customers.
These themes will run throughout IABM’s presentations and panels at IBC as well as provide a jumping off point to inspire IABM TV interviews. IABM members that have not yet featured on IABM TV in 2025 are invited to submit their proposals for IABM TV interviews relating to one of these three themes or choose their own topic of discussion.
