Update from the CEO

H1 – Intense, energising, and inspirational

It’s six months since I took on the role of CEO of IABM. In that time, I’ve travelled extensively, meeting over 300 members, industry peers, and partners across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and the US, listening and responding to what our IABM community values and needs to navigate these exceptionally challenging economic and geopolitical times.

As the world’s largest community of media technology vendors and partners, IABM has delivered industry shows, events, lounges, and speaker stages in Barcelona, Beijing, London, Las Vegas, Lisbon, Dubai, Seoul, Singapore, Miami and Orlando, and that’s before we get to upcoming shows and events in Prague, Amsterdam, India, New York and Tokyo.

I’m truly inspired by the impact our members, partners and the IABM Team have made together across the globe, resulting in:

Over 1,000 visitors

at our IABM Member Hubs connecting at key industry shows globally

100+ IABM TV interviews

amplifying our members’ voices across our digital platforms

60+ members

sharing industry expertise and insights on industry stages worldwide

These numbers are more than just figures—they’re a testament to the incredible IABM community. Our members are not just part of an organisation; they are the heart of a global community that drives innovation, collaboration, and growth in the broadcast, media, and entertainment technology sector.

And we’re super proud to see how each connection, conversation, interview and panel has contributed to a vibrant, ever-evolving industry.

Heading into H2

So as we head into BIRTV in Beijing, IBC – International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam, NAB Show in New York and Inter BEE in Tokyo, we’re excited to see our members further connect, engage, and network across the media technology landscape, shaping the industry’s future growth and innovation.

From the impact of tariffs, new technology, standards and regulations, to talent and innovative new member product launches, here’s to the power of our IABM community full of new ideas, fresh perspectives, and shared successes!
