Tariff policies are shifting rapidly across global markets—putting new pressure on technology manufacturers and vendors. The impact on sourcing, pricing, compliance, and logistics is too significant to tackle alone.
That’s why IABM is launching a member only Tariff Strategy Working Group—a focused, collaborative forum for information exchange, peer support, and actionable insights.
In this video, Chris Shaw, COO of US-based Cobalt Digital, explains the importance of this group.
If you’re involved in managing the operational or strategic impact of tariffs, this group is for you.

Tariff policies are shifting rapidly across global markets—putting new pressure on technology manufacturers and vendors. The impact on sourcing, pricing, compliance, and logistics is too significant to tackle alone.

The members of the IABM Tariff Strategy Working Group can represent competing companies. Competition (Antitrust) law generally forbids coordination of activities of groups unless there are clear benefits for the consumers of products and services. Within this group, there must be no pricing collusion discussions.
Tariffs and “trade-wars” can be considered as political, this group will not tolerate any political discussions. This being said – it is ok to inform and pass information (and links) about political decisions regarding tariffs and comment on the facts and outcomes, not on the politics.
LinkedIn postings on the The Tariff Strategy Working Group – IABM should be any matter can be safely discussed if you can clearly answer “yes” to the question:
Does this issue matter?
Am I bringing up a relevant tariff concern, announcement or solution?
Is the issue likely to lead a clear benefit to the media industry and/or consumers?
In General
Remember that discussion of prices, volumes, or allocation of particular customers would be a clear violation of the Competition (Antitrust) law and are prohibited. Communication of Group discussions to the press or on social media is not allowed without prior approval by IABM.
